Volunteering through Mesa County RSVP is a rewarding and fun way to give back to others living in our community. By applying your experience, skills, and talents, we’ll have you helping others in no time! There’s no cost, and no time like the present.
Mesa County RSVP manages a pool of around 600 local experienced, capable volunteers age 55 and older across 60 non-profit agencies. Volunteers help at no cost to you or our partner agencies. Additionally, our RSVP Signature Project volunteers can help you understand your Medicare options, tutor local children, and make minor safety-related repairs to the homes of older, limited-income adults, as well as for those with disabilities.
Even if you are happy with your current Medicare Advantage or Part D plan, you should check to see if there is another plan that offers you better health and/or drug coverage at a lower price.
Our volunteer SHIP counselors can help you review your options and pick a plan that meets your needs—all at no cost to you. They specialize in trusted, individualized and unbiased Medicare counseling.
Stop by our booth at BeaconFest 2021 on Thursday, September 9th, from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Enrollment for 2021 Medicare plans begins on October 15th and will run until December 7th 2021. As with past enrollment periods, there are some plan changes that are new for 2022, including a few which have been implemented to help beneficiaries during the COVID-19 pandemic.
