Volunteering through Mesa County RSVP is a rewarding and fun way to give back to others living in our community. By applying your experience, skills, and talents, we’ll have you helping others in no time! There’s no cost, and no time like the present.
Mesa County RSVP manages a pool of around 600 local experienced, capable volunteers age 55 and older across 60 non-profit agencies. Volunteers help at no cost to you or our partner agencies. Additionally, our RSVP Signature Project volunteers can help you understand your Medicare options, tutor local children, and make minor safety-related repairs to the homes of older, limited-income adults, as well as for those with disabilities.
No-cost, unbiased Medicare education & help available to anyone on or eligible for Medicare
Home repairs that help build independence
If you still need to review your 2022 plan, you have one last opportunity to work with a SHIP Medicare counselor: Tuesday, December 7, beginning at 9:00 a.m. We'll take our last walk-in client at 2:30 OR when we reach capacity.
If you can't make it in Tuesday, you can still call 1-800-Medicare for help or go online to medicare.gov.
Enrollment for 2022 Medicare plans begins on October 15th and will run until December 7th 2021. As with past enrollment periods, there are some plan changes that are new for 2022, including a few which have been implemented to help beneficiaries during the COVID-19 pandemic.
