Our Story

We opened our doors in 1973 as part of Community Social Services of Colorado West. In that first year, we recruited and placed 100 volunteers. In the years since, we have worked with thousands of volunteers, placing them in opportunities that strengthen the community by addressing local needs. In 2000, after being part of a few different organizations, we became self-sponsored. As a 501(c)3 charitable organization, we are funded by donations from individuals and businesses, as well as grants. RSVP is funded in part through AmeriCorps Seniors.

Our mission is to strengthen our community by engaging volunteers ages 55 and over!

Accountability, Life-long Learning, Integrity, Volunteerism, & Enjoyment

We are grateful to all of our donors, sponsors, and grantors. Without the support of this community, we could not continue to recruit volunteers to meet your needs.
